Chestnut and sundried tomato pate

Today’s recipe is super simple, super quick and super yummy! The flavor is slightly sweet because of the chestnuts and quite strong because of the sundried tomatoes. You can use it as a pâté on bread, or as a dip with crudités, or use your imagination!

As you can see I had some with some red pepper batons. And I spread some on my toast this morning. Looking forward to tomorrow morning already 😉

Chestnut and Sundried Tomato Pâté

Preparation:     20 minutes                                                                Servings: 4 people         Cooking Time:  None                                                                                                                       Total:                   20 minutes


100g cooked peeled chestnuts (the ones that come in a vacuum pack)

8 sundried tomatoes

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Pinch of salt

Soak the sundried tomatoes in boiling water for 15 minutes. Drain. Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
